A beautiful hotel and the perfect place to relax in. There is an outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing terrace, lots of landscaped gardens, a children play area, a golf putting green, mountain bikes to hire and free secure parking. Location
Situated just a couple of km's north outside of Plettenberg Bay centre, the NH is close to the beach and is next to the popular Goose valley Golf Course.

Room description
These are very stylish modern rooms, all ensuite and could be described as 5* in quality. All rooms have satellite TV, air-con, telephone, radio, internet connection, safe, mini bar and tea & coffee making facilities. Each room has a table and chair as well as either a small private balcony or a terrace.

Hotel lobby
A very discreet and stylish lobby, the reception is on the right as you enter and there is a staircase on the left adorned with African artifacts. The theme throughout the hotel is African art and culture, and has been done very well. There is a small seating area as you enter.

Hotel restaurant
There is a stunning restaurant inside the hotel although guests can enjoy meals on the terrace too overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. An excellent menu is available for lunch and dinner and there is a wide selection of international and local wines.

A bright and pleasant lobby, the reception desk is to the left as you enter and tha bar and restaurant is straight ahead. There is seating for guests as well as a business centre. There is also a small fishing boat hanging from the ceiling!

Hotel restaurant
There is a large restaurant at the centre of the hotel, next to the reception where guests can have lunch or dinner. Breakfast is also served here and guests can sit inside or out on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool or the Keurbooms River.

An excellent 4* hotel and ideal for those looking for something a little different from the conventional hotel. The rooms are very stylish and there is a nice African theme throughout the hotel. Location
Situated on a hill above Plettenbery bay and just a short drive to the beaches, the Whalesong Hotel and Hydro is near to the shops and restaurants in the middle of town as well as the main road taking you to Tsitsikama national park and Knysna.

Room description
The rooms at Whalesong are in two storey lodge style units made from wood, adobe walls and beautiful thatched roofs. All rooms are spacoius, en suite and have larg comfortable beds. Each room also has a balcony or private deck that spills out on to the landscaped gardens. There is satellite TV and telephone.

A very pleasant medium sze lobby wood furniture and seating area for guests. The reception desk is to the right as you enter and there is plenty of information on the surrounding area available.

Hotel restaurant
An excellent large restaurant with a balcony offering great views and a popular place for sundowners. There is an African theme throughout the bar and restaurant and a good menu offering local and international cuisine.
