Description of hotel Eco Alcala Suites
Newly opened in September 2007, the hotel comprises 32 suites offering the best facilities and exclusive services to both business travellers and families. The hotel is fully air-conditioned and features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, as well as a hotel safe and lift access. There is an on-site café with terrace, a bar, restaurant and TV lounge. Wireless Internet access and fax and photocopying services are available, as are room, laundry and ironing services. A parking garage is provided for guests arriving by car.
Eco Alcala Suites Location
This family-friendly, city hotel is situated 50 m from Alcalá Street and 600 m from Ciudad Lineal metro station, from which direct connections to the city centre are available (journey time: 10 minutes). Furthermore the hotel is just 2 minutes from the M-30 and M-40 motorways and, therefore, has excellent access to the key areas of Madrid. The hotel is situated in a residential and commercial area that is brimming with restaurants, bars and shops. IFEMA exhibition grounds and the Serrano Street shopping district are both 8 minutes away, whilst Chamartín train station is 12 minutes away and Madrid Barajas International Airport is 10 minutes away.
Room description
Three different types of suites are available: normal suites, duplex suites and duplex grand suites. The former accommodate between 1 and 4 persons and feature en suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. In addition they feature a lounge area with sofa bed (for 2 people), a desk, dining table, and kitchen area with American bar, fridge, microwave and kitchenware. The bedroom area has 1 queen-size or 2 single beds. Duplex suites are for between 1 and 6 persons (maximum of 3 adults). They offer the same facilities as the normal suites but feature an additional twin bedroom on the upper floor. Duplex grand suites are for 1 to 2 persons and feature a large lounge area with sofa, dining table, desk with bureau, as well as a kitchen area with American bar, fridge, microwave and kitchenware. There is also an en suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries, and a bedroom on the upper floor with a king-size bed. All rooms are equipped with the latest technology to make guests stay as enjoyable as possible. Amenities include direct dial telephone, 32-inch flat screen TV with satellite channels (2 TVs in duplex suites and grand suites), DVD player, free wireless Internet access, a free in-room safe big enough to fit a laptop, tea/coffee making facilities, as well as individually regulated air conditioning and heating units. Cots are available on request. Additional facilities are available and depend on the package booked.
Sport
There is an outdoor swimming pool by the sun terrace, on which sun loungers have been laid out ready for guests´ use. Guests wishing to have a work-out can make use of the hotel´s on-site gym.
